Silansys designers have extensive experience in storage Read/Write Channels, Servo and Motor Control electronics. Our applications expertise spans Hard Disk Drive (HDD), Tape Drive and CD/DVD.

HDD Read/Write analog and digital circuits push performance requirements from the design and the process technology to the very limit. Widely regarded as one of the most challenging and sophisticated of 'communications channels' the Read/Write Channel contains very hi-speed precision analog and complex digital signal processing. In the HDD arena, Silansys engineers have worked with a leading semiconductor product company to develop both analog and digital signal processing solutions - from continuous-time GmC filters to Viterbi Detectors.

Silansys designers have also developed full turnkey Read-Write Channels for DDS4 and LTO Tape Drive systems for a leading OEM. In the CD/DVD arena Silansys developed a 0.25um CMOS Analog Front End.
