SoC Design Services

Silansys has a highly successful proven track record in all SoC process technologies and we have delivered a range of complete SoC designs which are now in full production.

Our design process is managed through the use of EDA tools and the implementation of a proven design-flow which ensures that our methodology for any SoC implementation is effectively optimised for many of the primary design challenges including power efficiency, performance and area.

The design process typically includes a design concept, draft and final specification, IP customization and integration, chip-level verification, the development of a physical design and ultimate delivering through to the manufacturing process.

Where appropriate Silansys can support the design process through our ASIC and ASSC product IP which includes Digital Broadcast Receivers (DTV and DAB), Impedance Sensors, Silicon Oscillators, SSD Controllors, Smartcards and Low Power Wireless Transceivers.

We can also provide software device drivers and test applications for speedy chip qualification and to deliver through to product development on a timely and cost-effective basis.

In addition to standard design services, customers can work with Silansys to support their own internal design team or to access advice on aspects of the product development process including relevant design flows, libraries, foundries and key production considerations.
